Welcome to Week Seven of the My Beauty of Imperfection meal plan! If your just stumbling across these meal plans, the good news is that there are six previous weeks of meal plans already done and waiting for you! I make these meal plans for roughly a family of four and they include breakfast and dinner. If your lucky enough to have leftovers for lunch then you have your whole week covered! I do try and pick recipes that are generally healthy, family friendly and quick and easy to prepare from my food blogging favourites!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I don’t know about you but I am still dreaming of that tuna casserole form Un Assaggio of Food, Wine and Marriage! I am sure everyone is recovering this week after a big ol’ Easter with family, so I have kept breakfast pretty simple for you!
Meal Plan: Week 7
Sunday: Pancakes – add in some vanilla for extra flavour. It’s easter Sunday, so although I haven’t included it on the shopping list, I am going to go the whole hog here and suggest some scrambled eggs and bacon with your pancakes this morning!
Monday: Choice of cereal – your probably recovering from the food festivities of easter still so I’m keeping it pretty simple for you all this morning!
Tuesday: Peanut butter baked oatmeal – I exclude nutmeg so add it in if your a lover! I am not gluten of vegan, so you will see on the shopping list I have replaced gluten free rolled oats with rolled oats and almond milk with regular milk. MAKE ENOUGH FOR WEDNESDAYS BREAKFAST! Serve with strawberries
Wednesday: Choice of cereal
Thursday: Peanut butter baked oatmeal
Friday: Whole egg, bacon and avocado quesadilla
Saturday: Choice of cereal
Monday: Mashed potato cakes – serve with a simple salad of rocket, grape tomatoes and red onion!
Tuesday: Healthy parmesan garlic crumbed fish – serve with the same salad as Monday
Wednesday: Easy beef noodle stir fry
Thursday: Slow cooker meatball sub – serve with the same salad as Monday
Friday & Saturday: These are the nights you should totally give yourself a break from cooking! Eat up any delicious leftovers you have in the fridge or get yourself a takeout treat!
